Cushman & Wakefield releases financial results for the full year and fourth quarter

Today, the real-estate management company, Cushman & Wakefield posted financial results for the full year and fourth quarter ended December 31, 2021. The company's full year revenue is $9.4 billion and fourth quarter revenue is $2.9 billion; the full year revenue has increased by 20% from last year and the fourth quarter revenue is up 27% from last quarter. The fourth quarter net income and adjusted EPS is $146 million and $0.94, respectively. The EPS is well above the Wall Street analyst's consensus EPS of $0.63 for the fourth quarter. The results came as no surprise as the company has expanded it's lending and servicing platform by entering into a stategic joint venture with Greystone through the aqusition of 40% of the companies stock earlier in the year. The company also invested $150 million in WeWork as part of an initiative to provide a better workplace environment for clients and their tenants. In a recent press hearing the executive chairman of Cushman & Wakefield, Brett White stated that, "we executed our operating efficiency programs and invested in key strategic partnerships that further enable us to deliver significant value for our clients and shareholders for years to come."
